Samsung phones with Dolby Atmos
Samsung is one of the manufacturers that has incorporated Dolby Atmos decoders in some ranges of its mobile devices, for example, the Galaxy A series (Samsung Galaxy A6, A7, A11) and Galaxy S (S10, S10+, S20).
These decoders have the function of recreating through their different audio connections the sound that is currently experienced in movie theaters or at home with professional sound equipment and compatible sound bars.

How to activate Dolby Atmos on Samsung?
From the notification panel:
First of all, connect your headphones to the phone. Go to the top of your compatible Samsung phone screen and slide your finger down to open the notification panel.
Navigate between its screens until you locate the Dolby Atmos icon. Tap on this item to activate this option.
From the settings menu:
Connect your headphones to the phone. Then go to Settings > Sounds and vibration. Tap on Effects and sound quality. Lastly, turn on the Dolby Atmos switch.
What to do if the Dolby Atmos option does not appear?
Dolby Atmos is supported on Samsung phones running Android 9 and up. Therefore, if you can’t find this option, your phone probably needs to be updated.

Dolby Atmos compatible audio outputs
On higher-end Samsung phones, Dolby Atmos audio mode is supported for headphone output, Bluetooth audio output, and even built-in speakers. In the medium or low ranges, it only works with the headphone output and the Bluetooth audio output.

Subscription movie and series services that offer their content with audio recorded in Dolby Atmos are Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Apple TV.

Apple is another of the cell phone manufacturers that have opted for Dolby Atmos audio technology. All iPhone models capable of updating to iOS 14.6 can play songs recorded in Dolby Atmos from the Apple Music subscription service, whether they are streamed or downloaded to the device.
How to activate Dolby Atmos on an iPhone?
To enable this listening mode on an iPhone follow the steps below, but note that an Apple Music subscription is required.
To get started, update your iPhone to iOS 14.6. Then go to Settings and tap on Music. In the Audio section, tap on Dolby Atmos. Choose between Automatic, Always show or turn off Dolby Atmos
