Hi

eSIM, or embedded SIM, is a type of SIM card that is built directly into a device, as opposed to a physical SIM card that can be inserted and removed. eSIM technology is designed to make it easier for users to activate and switch between mobile plans, as well as to reduce the need for physical SIM cards.

eSIM works by storing the SIM card information, including the subscriber's identity and the mobile plan information, in the device's firmware. When the device is activated, it can automatically download the SIM card information from the mobile carrier's servers and then use that information to connect to the mobile network.

eSIM is supported by a growing number of devices, including smartphones, tablets, and smartwatches. eSIMs can be activated over-the-air (OTA) using QR codes or by scanning a barcode. Once activated, the user can easily switch between different mobile plans or carriers, with no need to change the physical SIM card.

The eSIM technology allows users to have multiple plans on one device, with capability to swap and change plans as they wish. It also eliminates the physical SIM card, reducing the size and cost of devices.

It's worth to note that eSIM's are still not as widely supported as traditional SIM cards, meaning it may not work with all the carriers or the device.
