Hi

PIR sensors, or Passive Infrared sensors, are equipped with three pins essential for operation. The VCC pin serves as the power supply, while the OUT pin transmits an electrical signal, and the GND pin connects to ground. Notably, these sensors function optimally with 5 volts, yet the output signal operates at 3.3 volts, eliminating the need for a resistor in the setup.

For comprehensive guidance on utilizing PIR motion sensors, delve into the tutorial available at the following link: https://en.alfanotv.com/laptops/how-to-use-a-pir-motion-sensor-with-raspberry-pi-4/ .

This resource offers invaluable insights into integrating PIR sensors with Raspberry Pi 4, enabling users to explore various applications and functionalities. Whether you're a novice or seasoned enthusiast, understanding the intricacies of PIR sensors enhances your ability to create innovative projects and automate tasks effectively.
