Starting with iOS 13, the list of wireless controllers that can be used with the iPhone, iPad or Apple TV has been expanded to include the Xbox One controller.
This original controller for the Xbox One console joins the MFI-certified Bluetooth controls for Play games available on the App Store or the Apple Arcade platform more comfortably. Here’s how to pair the Xbox One controller with your iPhone.
How to sync an Xbox One controller with your iPhone
Press the Xbox button to turn on the controller.
Hold down the sync button until the Xbox button starts flashing. (The sync button is located to the left of the USB port).
On your iPhone, go to Settings and activate Bluetooth. Finally, in the Other devices section, select Xbox Wireless Controller.
