Play Fortnite without waiting for it to return to Google Play.
Due to the blockade imposed by Google and Apple on Fortnite, many iOS and Android users who did not yet have the game, have been forced to look for other ways to get it. IPhone users, aware of the restrictions to get iOS applications from outside the App Store, have even proceeded to buy devices that already had the game installed. Android users have had better luck, since the version of the popular battle game for this mobile operating system is still available from the Epic Games website (its creators). However, an additional app needs to be downloaded before Fortnite can be installed on an Android device. These are the steps to follow.
Download and install Fortnite on Android
Open your preferred mobile browser and type in the address bar epicgames.com/fortnite.
Once the page opens, tap on the Android logo icon. On the screen that appears, tap the button below the Free Play Now banner.
Download the suggested APK file, which is actually an Epic Games installer, and proceed to install it.
Once the Epic Games application opens, tap on the Fortnite image or icon and follow the instructions.
Install Fortnite on Windows or Mac
If you want to install Fortnite on Windows or Mac, the procedure is very similar. Simply go to https://www.epicgames.com/fortnite/en-US/download?lang=en-US from your browser and choose the operating system of your computer.
