How to convert a web page to PDF from a phone?

The PDF format is the quintessential format for exchanging documents. Saving a document in this file format ensures easy distribution and correct display on virtually any electronic device as originally designed. That is why it can be very convenient to keep a PDF version of a certain web page whose content you want to be consulted later or to be shared.

Luckily, this task can be done from our mobile devices with the same efficiency as if it were done from a computer, however, the procedure is somewhat different for iPhone and Android. Follow these steps according to the type of terminal you have.

On Android

Open the Chrome browser and go to the web page whose content you want to save as a PDF file. Tap the More Options icon (three vertically arranged dots) and select Share > Print. Then select the Save as PDF option.

Confirm the action if applicable and choose the folder. If this does not happen, the generated PDF document will be saved in the download folder of the terminal.

On iPhone

Open the web page in question from Safari and click on the button represented by the letters “AA”. Next, select Show reader from the options menu. Now, tap on the Share option and select Print.

With this step, the PDF file of the web page will have been generated, showing in the final part the pages that make up the document in thumbnail size.

Zoom in on any of the thumbnails and tap the Share button again. To finish, select the Save to Files option.
