From translating simple written texts, these applications have evolved to the point that nowadays they translate texts included in photographs and voice conversations in real time.
In this last aspect, the official iOS and Android applications stand out, that is, Translate and Google Translate respectively.
Both offer a split screen mode to facilitate bilingual conversations. In addition, they come pre-installed in the operating system and have support for dozens of languages, including English, French, German, Japanese, Chinese, Dutch, among many others.

How to use Translator to translate a voice conversation
To start download Translate to your iOS device. Starting with iOS 14, it is pre-installed on the iPhone and iPad.
Next, open the application and select the two languages to be used in the translation.
Tap on the microphone icon and speak the word or phrase you want to translate. The translation will sound immediately (make sure you have not activated silent mode).
How to use Google Translate to translate a voice conversation
Open Google Translate on your Android terminal. Select the two languages and tap on Conversation.
Speak the expression you want to translate into the other language. The translation will be played instantly.
To translate another phrase, tap on the microphone icon that each language has at its disposal. You can also make the application automatically detect the language to translate. In this case, tap on Both.
Other apps to translate real-time voice conversations
