How to make Google your homepage in Chrome, Firefox and Edge

For most of us, in front of the computer, our first reaction is to open the Google page. The simplicity of its interface, the accuracy of its responses, and the various search options it offers – by images, by voice, by region -, makes it our first choice to search the Internet. Thus, it’s better to make it our web browser default page.

How to set Google as homepage in Google Chrome

Go to the Google page, click on the Google Chrome personalization menu (the three points at the top right).

Select Settings from the drop-down menu. Then, click On startup on the left panel.

Select Open a specific page or set of pages. Add a new page (see image).

In the window that opens, type the URL of the Google page (google.com), and click Add and go.

The next time you open Google Chrome, you will go directly to the Google page.

How to set Google as the main page in Firefox

First option:

Go to the Google page (for example, https://www.google.com).

Drag and Drop the website Url icon to the home button (house-shape)

Second option:

Click on the Firefox menu (the three stripes at the top right). Select Options.

Then Home option on the left side.

Look for New windows and Taps, Choose Custom Urls for Homepage and new windows. Type the google Url.

How to set Google as a homepage in Microsoft Edge

Go to the Google page and copy the Url (for example, https://www.google.com/).

Click on the Edge menu (the three points at the top right) and select Settings.

In Open Microsoft Edge with, choose Specific page or pages from the drop-down menu.

Paste the Google Url and click on the cassette-shaped button to save.
