Netflix not loading on Smart TV – Solved

The solution when Netflix won’t open.

Netflix loading on Smart TV LG

A common problem with the Netflix app in the different brands of Smart TV is that of being blocked when executing it. Given this inconvenience, the first thing we usually try to do is turn the TV off and on again to see if this solves the problem, but in most cases the app will still not open. Fortunately, there is a super simple method to get Netflix working on our Smart TV again.

What to do when Netflix won’t open

Unplug your Smart TV from the electrical current and wait at least 1 minute.

Next, locate the TV’s power button, and when you find it, hold it down for at least 5 seconds. This will discharge the energy stored in the TV. If your TV doesn’t have a power button or you can’t find it, leave it unplugged for at least 3 minutes.

Next, plug the TV back in and turn it on. Open Netflix and voila.

The position of the power button depends on the make or model of the TV. In LG it is usually found at the bottom. While at Sony on the right side.
