Hello,

CarPlay is a feature developed by Apple that allows you to use your iPhone's features and apps on the display of your car's built-in infotainment system. It provides a safe and convenient way to use your phone while driving, and supports a range of apps including maps, messaging, music, and phone calls. You can control CarPlay using your car's built-in controls or by using Siri voice commands.

Like any technological device, CarPlay can fail at some point. There could be several reasons why Apple CarPlay is not working. Some common reasons include:

Software Update:

Make sure that your iPhone is running the latest software version and that your car's infotainment system is also up to date.

Connection Issues:

Ensure that your iPhone is properly connected to the car's infotainment system via USB cable. Also, check if Bluetooth is enabled on both your iPhone and car's system.

Restrictions:

Check if restrictions on the use of CarPlay have been set up on your iPhone. Go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions to check if CarPlay is turned on.

Siri:

Make sure that Siri is enabled on your iPhone. Go to Settings >  Siri & Search and turn on  Listen for Hey Siri and Press Side Button for Siri.

Car Compatibility:

Ensure that your car is compatible with CarPlay and that it has the necessary hardware.

If none of these solutions work, you may need to contact Apple Support or your car manufacturer for further assistance.
