How to use handwritten in WhatsApp messages?

Technology and the average screen size of today’s smartphones make it possible to do things that were unthinkable in the past.

One of them is to write by hand the messages that are sent through messaging applications such as WhatsApp, in order to make fewer mistakes or to feel the same sensation as if it were written on paper.

This feature of WhatsApp has its origin in the ability of Google’s Gboard keyboard to interpret the texts entered on the screen in handwritten form.

Although it must be recognized that it is only available for the Android system, and it also works with Google Docs, email, Telegram, Messenger, among many other applications that use the keyboard.

The first step to be able to use this Android feature is to activate handwriting for the language configured on the Android keyboard, that is, the default Gboard keyboard. For this do the following:

Turn on handwriting in Gboard

Open WhatsApp or any other application that makes use of the keyboard and touch the part of the screen where texts are entered. Then tap on the > symbol located on the left of the screen to open the functions menu and tap on the Settings icon.

Next, click on Languages ​​and select the language you want to use. Select Handwriting and tap Done.

How to enter handwritten texts in WhatsApp?

Now it only remains to enter the WhatsApp text messages using your own writing.

To do this, click on the box to write texts and click on the globe-shaped icon. You will immediately notice that a space will open to enter texts manually. There, you can use your finger or a stylus.
