Microsoft Edge Chromium is the new web browser that Microsoft has launched. It is based on the Chromium open source project, so its operation is very similar to Google Chrome. Its main features include enhanced privacy and security features, support for streaming videos in 4K format and support for extensions that are usually installed in Google Chrome from the Chrome Web Store.
Microsoft Edge Chromium becomes the replacement for Microsoft Edge in Windows 10 and will be updated gradually through the Windows Update feature, but it can be used before this happens by downloading and running your installation file for Windows 10.
