Hi
I can't activate WiFi Direct on my Redmi Note because that option is greyed out. I have restarted the phone but still the same, it has never worked for me.

Hello

WiFi Direct is a wireless technology that allows devices to connect to each other without the need for a traditional wireless network or a central access point. It enables devices to establish a direct peer-to-peer connection using Wi-Fi protocols, allowing them to communicate and share data with each other directly.

To enable Wi-Fi Direct on some Xiaomi phone models, such as Redmi Note 9,10 Poco X3 Pro...Please follow these steps:

Open your phone's Control Center by swiping down from the top of the screen.

Enable Location and Wi-FiNext, go to Settings > Wi-Fi.

Scroll to the bottom of the screen and tap on Additional settings.

Finally under Other Connection Methods, tap on Wi-Fi Direct.

It is essential to follow these steps, otherwise the WiFi Direct option will appear gray and you will not be able to activate it.
