I have heard about DuckDuckGo. What is it about? Is it a web browser or a search engine?

DuckDuckGo is a search engine that, unlike Google, does not collect or share personal information.

It does not share your users' search terms with the sites they click on. By default, it does not save browsing history or use cookies either.
