How to mirror Mac to TCL Smart TV

The operating systems and technologies with which TCL Smart TVs are made allow a variety of electronic imaging devices to be connected to mirror your screen wirelessly. Among the most common are Windows computers and mobile phones, however, this also applies to Mac computers.

The screen mirroring procedure on a TCL smart TV from a Mac differs for TVs based on the Android TV or Roku TV system. In both cases, very good results are obtained, as long as there is a Wi-Fi connection in the living room. We show them below.

How to mirror a Mac to TCL Android TV

To get started, connect your Mac and the TCL TV to the same Wi-Fi network.

Go to your TCL Android TV and enter the Google Play Store. Download and install the AirScreen application. Once done, select Open.

Then go to your Mac computer and enable AirPlay. To do this, select Apple menu > System Preferences. Then click Displays and check Show mirroring options in the menu bar when available. Once done, use the AirPlay icon on your Mac to select the TCL Android TV.
