It involves using the VLC application as the player for YouTube videos, along with its powerful 10-band graphic equalizer that can be manually adjusted to achieve the most suitable musical response based on the portable speakers or headphones that users have. VLC is a cross-platform open-source application recognized for its ability to play practically any multimedia file. Furthermore, unlike other sound equalization apps, VLC can stream content such as YouTube videos, in addition to playing local files and content from the home network. Another important advantage is that it doesn’t contain any advertisements.
How to Equalize YouTube Music with VLC for Android
To get started, download and install VLC for Android from the Google Play Store. As a second step, open the YouTube app and select the video clip you intend to play.
Now, tap on the video menu (3 vertical dots) located to the right of its name and select the Share option. When the Share menu opens, scroll down to More options and select VLC for Android or (Play with VLC).
Next, go to the VLC screen and wait for the video to load. To display the equalizer, tap on the video menu (3 horizontal dots) located on the right side and select Equalizer. Then, toggle the Enable switch and proceed to adjust it according to your preferences.
