If when you run the Minecraft Launcher, it does not open, do the following:

First solution:

Right click on the Minecraft Launcher and select Properties. Then click on the Compatibility tab.

Find the Compatibility mode section and check the Run this program in compatibility mode for: box. Open the dropdown menu and choose Windows Vista.

Then click Apply > OK. Run the Minecraft Launcher.

If the issue is resolved, go back to Compatibility Mode and change it to Windows 10.

Second solution:

If the problem is not resolved, completely uninstall Minecraft. For this:

Right-click on the Windows Start menu and select Apps and Features. Select the Minecraft app and click Uninstall.

Once Minecraft is uninstalled, type %appdata% in the Windows search bar and press Enter. Then right click on the Minecraft folder and select Delete.

Once Minecraft is removed from your PC, reinstall it: https://www.minecraft.net/
