In Excel, you can merge cells by using the Merge Cells function. Here are the steps to merge cells in Excel:

Select the cells that you want to merge. You can select multiple cells by holding down the Ctrl key while clicking on each cell, or by clicking and dragging over a range of cells.

Click the Merge & Center button. Or right-click on the selected cells and choose Merge Cells" from the context menu.

To unmerge the cells, select the Merge & Center down arrow. Then, select Unmerge Cells.
