Sites to create temporary email addresses

On some occasions it may be convenient to create an alternative email account that serves to sign up for web services that request identity verification, but with which we will have limited participation. These are the cases of document and software download sites, discussion forums, among other similar ones, whose temporary utility does not deserve to link our main account and real identity.

Thus, to give some examples, we will be able to get rid of spam, unwanted messages and malicious links, since they will inevitably go to the alternate account. And what better if that alternate account is one that does not ask to reveal our identity and disappears automatically after hours or a few days.

This is the work that temporary email services do. Dozens of them coexist on the Internet developing similar functions, but sometimes with characteristics that deserve to be highlighted from one another. Below is a list of the most representative ones.

Mohmal

Mohmal allows you to create an anonymous temporary email address, chosen randomly or with a custom domain that you can easily remember. The accounts created in Mohmal are valid for 45 minutes, although this period can be extended in the event that there is no activation of the service requested with said account. At the end of the expiration period, all account data will be deleted.

YOPmail

With YOPmail you only need to specify a username to generate an anonymous email address and receive messages from other accounts. However, the account created will be associated with the Yopmail domain and without the possibility of sending messages to other email addresses.

Guerrilla Mail

Guerrilla Mail offers you sessions limited to 60 minutes in length. But unlike the previous ones, it allows you to send attachments of up to 150 MB.

10 Minute Mail

Just by entering 10 Minute Mail you will have already generated a random email account and an inbox that are deactivated after 10 minutes. Of course you can request an extension for 10 minutes more as many times as you think is necessary up to a limit of 100 minutes.

MintEmail

A simple visit to MintEmail allows you to get not just one but two random email addresses, but with the ability to set a custom name for each of them. MintEmail does not require any registration or create passwords for random accounts. These expire after three hours, but like the others, it accepts extension requests.

Moakt

Moakt is a temporary mail service limited to one hour, however, it allows you to extend the duration as many times as necessary. It has several domains on which it is possible to establish a personalized username, however, it also has a random option.
