What is LinkedIn?
LinkedIn is a professional-oriented Internet community. LinkedIn is widely used by professionals of all branches since it allows them to interact with each other, and also make themselves known to companies interested in their profile.
LinkedIn allows direct access to the contacts of professionals who are part of the community, giving the option of creating new relationships. In turn, it is a tool that allows you to find a job through a search engine that has various filters to facilitate the process. LinkedIn is also an advertising platform for educational and training content.

To access LinkedIn you must have an email address, and you can do so through its website or its mobile applications for iOS and Android.
How to create a LinkedIn account
Go to the LinkedIn page and click Join now. In the window that opens, enter your email, an easy-to-remember password, and click Agree & Join. Enter your first and last name, click Continue, and you’re done. Your account has been created.
Once the account is created, the creation of the profile continues. Select your location. Write your most recent work data: position, company, the sector to which it belongs. In case you are studying and need to look for internships, LinkedIn gives you the option to put I am a student.
How to set up your professional profile on LinkedIn
Once on the LinkedIn Home page, click the Me icon and then View Profile. On your profile page, click Add profile section, and you will see a list of all the available options to add to your virtual CV.
Click the + button that appears next to each option and fill in the requested information. Don’t forget to post a suitable profile photo, as your page will be your cover letter to your colleagues and recruiters.
