The professional social network LinkedIn allows you to contact other users in the same work sector. However, unlike other social networks, LinkedIn notifies its users when someone reviews their profile. If this is uncomfortable for you, keep reading this article to learn how to visit any professional social network profile anonymously.
How to View a LinkedIn Profile in private mode
On the LinkedIn home page, click Me and select Settings & Privacy.
In the left navigation bar, click Visibility > Visibility of your LinkedIn activity > Profile viewing options.
Check the Private mode box and you’re done.
You can also set your profile display as Someone in the Internet industry in the Private Profile characteristics section. In this case, only the place where you study or work will appear.
Please note that turning on Someone in the Internet industry or Private Mode will prevent you from knowing who has viewed your profile and your viewing history will be deleted.
