This feature works very similarly on iPhone and Android phone, and also requires read receipts to be turned on. We show you the steps you must follow.
How to see the time your WhatsApp messages were read on iPhone
Click on the chat icon and enter the desired conversation. Long press on the chosen message and select the Info option. The Message Info screen will immediately appear showing information about the time and date of reading.

Touch the chats icon and enter the desired conversation. Long press on the chosen message until it is highlighted in blue. Click on the “i” option to display the information you are looking for.
