Yahoo Mail includes an option to send large attachments.
E-mail services without exception have a general rule not to allow the sending of large attachments.
Attachment size limit in Yahoo Mail
In the case of the Yahoo mail service, the size of an attachment cannot be greater than 25 MB, making it impossible to share long videos or presentations with abundant multimedia content using this mode.
However, Yahoo Mail has managed to overcome these limitations by integrating with Google Drive and Dropbox, online storage services to which a too heavy attachment can previously be uploaded. These in turn generate a link to the file to share it directly from Yahoo Mail.
The way to do it is as follows.
How to send large files in Yahoo Mail
Go to the Yahoo.com page and log into your account. Click Compose and enter the recipient’s email address.
In the Attach menu, click Share files from Google Drive or Share files from Dropbox.
Connect your Yahoo account with the chosen service and select the attachment. Wait for the link to appear and click Submit.
The recipient will receive the file with a link to download it to their PC along with an option to save it to their virtual drive on Google Drive or Dropbox.
An alternative for sharing large files
If you are unable to share your large file from Yahoo Mail because you do not have a Google Drive or Dropbox account, you still have the option to do so using the WeTransfer service. Check out the following article that explains how to do it: How to send large files easily.
