Unlike what happens on Facebook, the social network Snapchat does not offer as many options to regain lost access to a user account. In the event of a user forgetting or needing to change the password for security reasons, it can only be reset if the user has access to the phone number or email used to create the account.
Despite these limitations, the password change or recovery process is very quick and easy. It can be done from the Snapchat mobile application itself, taking into account the information mentioned in the previous paragraph. Here we show you the steps to follow.
Recover your Snapchat password from the app
Open the Snapchat mobile app and tap LOG IN. Tap Forgot your password?
Next, choose between the options via Phone or via Email.
In either case, enter the corresponding information and follow the instructions.
