How to unfreeze an Oppo phone

One of the events that often occurs during the loading of the operating system that governs an Android smartphone is the screen freezing, a situation in which there is no response to the commands that are tried to be executed through the touch system or the physical buttons.

When this happens, the Android system offers several possibilities, one of them being the use of the forced restart function, which often solves the problem. The other option is to use the Recovery Mode that each manufacturer adds to the computer.

The way to use these two options and to be able to solve the frozen screen problem in the phones produced by the Chinese giant Oppo is as follows.

How to force restart your Oppo phone

Press and hold the on / off button and the volume up button simultaneously for 8 seconds. Once the Oppo logo appears, release the buttons and the computer will restart.

How to put your Oppo phone into Recovery Mode

If the problem is not resolved, the option that remains is to use Recovery Mode. To do this, follow these steps.

Turn off the phone. If you can’t, wait until the battery is completely discharged and recharge it.

Simultaneously press the volume down button and the Power button for five seconds. When the Recovery menu appears, select English > Online update. Connect your phone to the internet and check for an update.

If there is no update and your phone is still not responding, turn the phone off using the Power off option and re-enter Recovery mode. Then, select the Wipe data option whose function is to do a factory reset.
