Reinstall USB device drivers automatically
A damaged or outdated driver can cause error code 43 to appear. Therefore, the solution is to reinstall the drivers. These are the steps to follow.
Connect the problem USB device to the computer. Right click on the Start menu and select Device Manager. Right-click on the device with malfunctions and select Uninstall device. Next, click the Action tab in Device Manager and select the Scan for hardware changes option.
Reinstall the drivers manually
Another way to solve the problem is to visit the support page of the manufacturer of the conflicting USB device to download an updated version of its drivers and install them manually. This procedure is very simple, as it is enough to run the file that contains the drivers and follow the instructions that appear on the screen.
