How to update the software on your AOC Xmart UI TV

Keeping the software of a Linux-based AOC smart TV up-to-date (Xmart UI interface) avoids some operational problems, including internet connection errors of your pre-installed applications such as YouTube or Netflix.

This procedure can be carried out in two ways, either by downloading the update to a USB memory and then installing it on the TV or through an online update. Here’s how to do it.

How to update the software on your AOC Smart TV

Press the Home button on the remote control to access the main interface. Then select Settings > All Settings. Next, select Options and click Online update verification. If there is an update available, accept the installation and follow the instructions.

Using your computer’s browser, go to https://eu.aoc.com/en. In the search field write the model of your AOC TV. Select the result that matches your TV.

On the screen that opens, click Support. Download the available update package and, if necessary, proceed to unzip it using a compatible program. Then copy it to an empty USB stick.

Turn off the TV and plug in the USB stick. Then turn on the computer and wait for the software update to take place.
