How to activate the dark mode in your Google Chrome browser

The dark mode is trending nowadays, most operating systems and applications already integrate it into their configuration options.

Its main benefits include visual fatigue decreasing and autonomy of devices increasing. Although Google Chrome does not incorporate it natively yet, it is possible to get it by activating the dark mode from Windows 10.

How to put Google Chrome in dark mode

Press the Windows key and the I key simultaneously.

In the Windows Settings options, click Personalization.

Click on Colors and, in the right panel, scroll down to almost the end, in “Choose your default app mode” select Dark.

The dark mode will be activated immediately throughout the Windows interface and in specific applications. There’s no need to restart your browser. Open Google Chrome and enjoy its new interface.
