Another limitation of this function is the duration of the videos, since these cannot exceed 30 seconds, which does not agree with the material that is usually shared on the Internet, especially music clips, which usually last three minutes on average.

However, there is a solution to be able to publish full videos in WhatsApp Status.

This solution is provided by an application called Video Splitter, which has the particularity of being able to divide a long video into segments of adjustable duration by the user, including an exclusive function to use it with WhatsApp status and publish it on the platform. We show you how it works.

First of all, download Video Splitter from Google Play Store. Here is its download link. Install the application and open it. Next, tap on SPLIT VIDEO. Select the long video you want to post on your WhatsApp status.

Next, select the WhatsApp Split option and click on the check icon. Wait for the video division process initiated by the application to finish. When finished, click on Done. When the Share menu opens, select WhatsApp and tap on My status. Then, click on the Send icon.

By default, the application writes an advertising message in the comment box. If you want, delete it or write a personalized message, but take the trouble to do it with each segment. Finally, click on the Send icon.
